Ms. Santashia Reed
Executive Director & Founder
As one of the founders of FSBH, I bring over 20 years of experience in nursing and leadership skills with a dedicated focus on serving troubled and at-risk adolescents. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with youth in a variety of settings, including group homes, addiction treatment facilities and with incarcerated teens. These experiences have giving me a comprehensive understanding of the complex challenges young people face, as well as the resilience they carry within them which is why I come with a deep commitment to caring for and supporting young people during some of the most critical stages of their lives. Throughout my career, I have witnessed both the challenges that adolescents face and the incredible resilience they carry within them. These experiences drive my commitment to building a safe, structured, and supportive environment where youth feel genuinely understood. My dedication to this work is deeply personal. Having experienced childhood trauma myself, I understand first-hand the lasting impacts it can have- but also the strength it takes to overcome it. This lived experience fuels my commitment to helping others heal, grow, and realize that their past does not define their future. I am dedicated to making sure every young person we support receives the guidance, resources, and motivation they need to overcome their difficulties. My vision is rooted in a genuine desire to see every adolescent thrive; emotionally, mentally, and socially. I believe that with the right support, guidance, and opportunities, each young person can overcome obstacles, discover their strengths, and build a foundation for a healthy and successful adulthood. To me, FSBH is more than a place of care; it is a place of growth, empowerment, and for the future
